The property in Kensworth is a grade 2 listed building in the lovely village of Kenworth just outside Dunstable.
The first part of a three-room renovation initially made sense to tackle the ensuite; this reasonably small ensuite had a shower that didn’t work and a basin only. The customer wanted some real wow factor with this room and didn’t want to close the bathing space off the rest of the room, suggesting we remove the door.
I could see from the structure that we could not only remove the door and door frame, but we could also open up the entrance further to bring the ensuite really into the bedroom.
