Welcome to the story behind TradesPro. I’m Richard, and I’ve dedicated over two decades of my life to mastering the trades and helping homeowners like you. Here’s a little about my journey and how TradesPro came to be.
My Early Years in the Trades
My journey started down in Cornwall, where I spent about five years as a self-employed painter and decorator. Those years gave me a solid foundation in the importance of detail and quality workmanship.
From there, I moved on to working alongside a heating engineer, where I learned the ropes of plumbing. That hands-on experience led me into the world of bathroom fitting, and before I knew it, I was installing high-end bathrooms and mastering the finer points of the trade.
Building TradesPro
In 2012, I founded my own bathroom fitting and property maintenance company in Dunstable. For years, I had the pleasure of transforming bathrooms and tackling all sorts of home improvement projects for a loyal base of customers.
In 2020, I rebranded the business as TradesPro Ltd. and moved my base to Aylesbury. Now, from my narrowboat home, I provide a full range of handyman and home improvement services across Aylesbury, Berkhamsted, Tring, and beyond.
